I know it's late, but if you missed the crew member getting mowed down in pit lane at Sebring, here are a couple videos (including one from in-car cameras, that one is new to me) and a story.

Tracy Krohn needs to be banned from racing for that bone-headed move......

I don't feel Tracy Krohn as needing to be banned. They need to look at this accident very closely & figure out what happened. If there is a penalty to be had maybe both of those drives should sit out one race. That crewman is exceedingly lucky for sure & for that I'm thankful.

Here is a vid of the accident. The middle car was let go unsafely, BUT Krohn actually turned into him as the other car was entering the pit lane. His excuse......he was adjusting the fuel on the steering wheel.

I believe what Krohn said. Lots of things to do while leaving pit road, settings & even pulling your harness tight. That being said it didn't look like Krohn moved right more than a couple of inches. The real bonehead move was Drissi trying to slot is car through where there was zero room for him. I'd say it is 25-75 as to whose fault it was. As I said both drivers need some kind of slap so they remember not to do that again.
Much better perspective with this video. -

Well, I guess I can be accused of being a bit biased as I put T. Krohn in the same category as Nic Jonsonn...........both a hack drivers IMHO.

We all have our favorites, & he's not mine. I think you are putting to much blame on Krohn. While not blameless I think it is far from hang him high. Drissi & his crew screwed the pooch & Krohn was a participant through Drissi's actions.

When I saw they didn't go full course yellow with a car up against the wall I figured someone would get over there & hit it. But I didn't realize how bad it was going to be. Yikes I'm glad the corner worker survived. Damned lucky!
Seems to me any vehicle on track like that safety truck should have an crash attenuator on the back. Had that been an Indy car rather than an Aston it would have been most likely been a fatal hit. -

This is disappointing, I wanted to see them continue to develop with the diesel. Smart, though, to get a jump on the necessary eventual transition, if that's why they're doing it.

I saw this one coming. It was said a while ago that Mazda diesels may not be here in 2016. Lots of money wasted developing those cars. Although they were far from being fully developed.
