Here's the Rolex24 pole sitter, Michael Shank Racing Ligier Honda. Full results here: http://www.imsa.com/sites/default/files/race_result_files/TUSC%20Rolex%2024%20Daytona%20Qualifying.pdf
One of the Michael Shank crew was sporting an Ohio vs. The World T Shirt. Good showing for the home team.
No matter what you think of the Delta, this is a fun ride (IMO). I think the camera location is part of it but who knows? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83HAWbPRbHg"]RACER: DeltaWing Rolex 24 Night Practice - YouTube[/ame]
It's less than an hour before the Daytona 24H start. Here's another update on Memo Gidley's recovery since his crash in the 2014 race. I say this every time I read another update but I can't believe all he's had to go through. He's getting there, though. He's determined and I think that has a lot do do with his progress. IMSA - IMSA: Gidley on the mend one year after Daytona crash
Race starts at 2P (E). Racer's guide: IMSA - IMSA: RACER̢۪s 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona Resource Guide Here you will supposedly get live streaming from onboard the Mazda Prototypes w/ the IMSA Radio audio: USTREAM - Broadcast Live Streaming Video, Watch Online Events, Chat Live, send a Tweet, follow on Facebook, record your Live Shows I'll post others if/when I find them.
Man no one should have to go though all of that. He is one tough guy for sure. I hope he makes it back to competitive driving. Keep on truckin Memo!
Wow, if only Fox Sports could spend even more time on off track activites like interviews - those are so much more important than actually watching the race! And commercials....not near enough of those either......
Those commercials pay for that race you are watching, I don't like them either. I DVR the race & skip the content I don't care for. Works well for me, maybe it would for you too.
Well, I would except for two things......I don't have FS2, so I lost the feed till tomorrow morning and secondly I'd wind up fast forwarding 90% of the show! And I cannot understand why the TV "commentators" think they have to talk nonstop thru the whole telecast....I wind up just muting the sound after a while, their constant chattering is beyond annoying! I know I sound like a grumpy old man and maybe I am, but just think about how much more enjoyable it would be to watch if you didn't have to listen to that machine gun chatter constantly - I'm not saying it's not helpful to have the broadcasters, they just need to throttle it back about 50%....
Here's a good streaming link. Video quality comes and goes, audio is IMSA Radio (which, this year, is Radio Le Mans). http://multimedia.netstorage.imsa.com/players/radio_lemans/index.html
That didn't last long. Then they changed drivers and if Pew doesn't start pedaling faster they won't be on the lead lap for long.
