Watched it today, what an exciting track - I love VIR! I've only run there once but I'd love to do it again.....it's such a great track!
I agree with every word! One thing I love about watching races on TV run at VIR is I know part of that track very well. We only ran the South Course but I loved it and after watching races there I'm pretty familiar with the rest. What a fun track! I esp. like on-board video along the bits I've driven because no matter the car or how fast it's going it still feels like a blast from the past. I MUST get my MINI back out on that track again!!! It was a fun race to watch. The MINIs got a little more attention than I expected from the commentators and Randy got some great camera time. Congrats Randy and congrats RSR!
Was a fantastic race to watch.....lots of good racing going on all the way thru! Wish there had been a bit more coverage of the 2nd in points MINI's! WTG! ! ! And Randy is looking good, glad things have gone so well for you.
Just watched this on my DVR. The camera angles don't do justice to the 100'-elevation gain. Those cars are flying off the curbing going up the uphill esses at 100+ mph... crazy!
