What is Velosity? I can't say that I have heard of that show. Or is it a channel?

 

It used to be called Discovery HD. They changed the name to Velocity

I looked on the TV schedule @ Velocity & do not find that program listed. :confused5:

 

The program is called Renaissance Man. The episode on March 5 is titled Mini Rides Again.

 

Thanks, I have that one programmed in to record the series. I watched the first one this week. Great show about Lancia GP cars & Goodwood. Alan De Cadillac does a wonderful job of it.

I just finished watching "Grand Prix - The Killer Years" on Velocity. What a great documentary on the early history of Formula 1. It provides an indepth overview of the advancement in race car development, the lack of safety provisions in place at the facilities, and the drivers' quest to make the changes necessary to make the sport safer for everyone.

This is an outstanding documentary that I recommend for every racing enthusiast.

 

Darn it, been waiting to see it all week and we got tied up...Hope they rerun it soon...
