Looks like we've got a consistent 11.2 @ 126 MINI......if the track comes round we might nick a 1/0th tomorrow but at the moment Thomas is having to pedal it after about 6/10ths after leaving....we cant really see anywhere else we can pick up any ET from. Our first qualifier is at 9am tomorrow
Sorry for the lack of update, so to recap on Sunday our plan of out qualifying our other 11sec FWD racers Mat & Ben went well The only problem was , we were expecting to be in 4th then meeting Mat in the first round so we could have a nice tight heads up race, but because Calvin only made qualifying pass, guess who we got in 1st round again Even though Thomas tree'd Calving, Calvin top end charge was enough to beat Thomas by .6 of a sec (last run on the sheet) A great pic from Santa Pods very own DJ So we still remain 6th in the champioship, our 4th round is this weekend at The Retro Show at Santa Pod Unfortunatley its been a busy week here at the Webster's so no video has been made as yet......but for now pics of the weekend are availble here on our FB page https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.685455524803132.1073741838.208453482503341&type=1
So this is what we've just made on the dyno, looks like our 60ft will suffer and Thomas will have to change into 5th before the finish line, but we should see a new personal best MPH tomorrow and with a bit of luck maybe the ET, but the 4th to 5th will hurt us by 2/10ths
What a weekend.....Thanks for all the kind words and messages .....hopefully this is just the start of Old Red's 10 sec life......we have loads of data to look at and loads of ideas how to make Old Red faster and hopefully consistant 10s and 130+ mph runs for the rest of the year...... but for now here's the first 10sec ticket and a few 11.0s for Round 4 Its been a long time waiting for the scoreboard to light up starting with 10 And here is that ticket on our first qualifier and run of the day Our 2nd qualifier, our best 60ft and our quickest 1/8th of the weekend.......Thomas didn't like how it felt on the 3rd to 4th,,,,,but everything checked out ok Our 3rd qualifier and the first 130mph trap speed in the 1/4 for a MINI in Europe For the 2nd time in a row we qualified 3rd This was the ladder for today.......Amy had the lucky break this weekend as No 1 qualifier Richard Batty hurt his engine so had bye's to the final For the first time this year we won our first round with a holeshot Our semi final round against Kiel was a foregone conclusion and Thomas backed off in 4th again with Kiel running another consistent 9 sec pass We have so much footage to go through but hopefully we will get a video up this week but for now just in case you hadn't seen on FB here's a link to a video of the 10 sec run https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10151673740712299 Our next outing is at The Bug Jam on the 19th -21st July at Santa Pod

The Sprintex is waiting to go back on one of the courtesy cars we have, I've still not finished playing with it yet You ave to remember that I bought a turbo and a manifold in 2006 ......so its taken this long to get around to turbo Old Red Unfortunately customers cars take priority Soon as I start playing with the sprintex again I'll let you know.....at the moment the 60fts are very similar for each configuration.

Our latest dyno result from yesterday after the head swop due to 1 x slight bent Inlet valve on the JCW head, we now have the 2006 Hubie CNC stage 1 head on with the new 1320 G&S valves, it was the normal 00.45 am finish on Thursday We're at Santa Pod today and will do some testing today with the boost by gear, I'll let you know how we get on
