    Ah, spring! Love is in the....water(?)

    No water moccasins in this part of the country but we do have the diamondback water snake which many ignorant people claim to be the moccasin and will brag about killing it. Just makes my blood boil.

    Water Moccasin

    There are poisonous/deadly water moccasins in and around all parts of Texas. There are plenty of other non poisonous water snakes as well Friskie. Here is a water moccasin that I caught and handled. Enjoy!
