Group C, this is the formula they should use to combine the DP and P1&2 cars! Bernie killed it, USCC can bring it back!!
I was just thinking The P1, P2, DP, and challenge cars do a set of races at some tracks. The alms GT, GA GT, GS and challenge cars do races at different tracks. Then in 2-3 years they see what the fans like watching the best.
It had pretty good speed down the straights but held up a lot of cars....better than I expected but still not impressed.....
Now compared to last year, this year's ALMS race was fantastic, lots more cars and lots more competition!! Big fight most of the day between the Mazda and Honda with the Muscle Milk car taking the win in the end because of poor pit stop planning on Dyson racing's part!! Had a blast and can only imagine how good it will be next year with the Grand Am DP cars in the mix!!
Great to hear.....now, if they would only get their head out of their a** and put Mid-Ohio and Lime Rock back on the schedule.

...which is why it will likely be called the Tudor Series or Tudor Championship for short rather than trying to pronounce TUSC like a word.
Combine two series' and you might end up with a lot of entrants. Apparently they're expecting exactly that, and this is how they've decided to deal with. IMSA Announces Tentative Grid Capacity For 2014 (alms.com)
Interesting. Porsche says they have 15 or so teams interested in the new 911 GT America that is spec'ed for the GTD class. Add in the other marques that are also slated for the class and it's going to be a very full field.
