Here's an image I made in PS of the paintjob I am aiming on getting for my R53. (The mirror caps are supposed to be red, too)

First off, how does it look?

Is there anything I should look for in a paint shop (that would be the determining factor between a good paint job and one that will fade in one summer). I was
quoted between $500-$700 for the roof job, is that high, low?

    Cheers!

No matter what color / style of plan you get. If you care for your paint it will last as long as your car. Wash, clay wax. :yesnod: My vote is for 2.

I like the red, but have you though of doing vinyl instead. Cost would be lower and it's not so permanent should you decide another look suits you better.

Maybe a vinyl job.... They stand up to weather pretty well... And if you don't like it, just peel it off....

I never even though about vinyl... That sounds like a brilliant idea, I'll definitely look into it as a possibility! Thanks!

Hi Lyle, is there any particular wrap that you would recommend? Looking for a glossy red vinyl...
