Somehow, my email address got onto some mega-list, and I can't unsubscribe fast enough. I'm getting 50-plus emails a day asking for money for political races all over the country.

Why does Joe Blow's campaign think I give a S-it about who wins the District 13 state legislature seat in Montana?

    Grrrrrrrr!!! :incazzato:

    I sure hope so.

It is amazing how political campaigns think. "Well, we've asked him for money 200 times, maybe THIS email will be the one that works. LOL

But, then again, people give money to preachers who send them crap-loads of emails. Maybe it is the same strategy.

I hope you didn't mean "unsubscribe" as in a link in the mail. That would actually make it worse. It was a mass blind e-mailing and they expect very few responses. By unsubscribing, you announce that your e-mail is active, and your address became more valuable to sell to others. Just ignore and discard (mark as spam in your e-mail provider).

I won a SPAM cooking challenge about ten years back. I forget the exact thing I made. It was a casserole, and I smoked a few blocks of SPAM in the process.

It surprised the heck out of me -- it was actually really good, in a "comfort food" kind of way.

Whoever took this thread off the OP topic... Thank You! :D
