Over here in little Ol' England my 2003 Cooper cost me a tidy $3829, how much did yours set you back? I was curious about pricing. Over here that's very cheap for a MINI One never mind a Cooper.

Oh and it costs $84 to fill the tank.

Can you explain the difference between a MINI One and a Cooper?

Here in the States we have Coopers (aka "JustaCooper" or "Justa" for short) and Cooper S (supercharged or turbo, depending upon year).

Looking forward to learning something new about UK MINIs!

Oh sorry I didn't realise! Right a "One" is base spec, hubcaps and basic accessories, lower brake horse power, they tend to be bought as first cars for new drivers (our insurance is crazy expensive). This was renamed MINI "First" a couple of years ago. Next up is the Cooper (115 BHP, 120 MPH then Cooper S (163 BHP, 135 MPH)

The 2 hot MINIs are the Cooper S John Cooper Works (210 BHP, 140MPH+) and the Cooper S JCW GP (220BHP, 150MPH+ depending on tune) this is the lightest fasted MINI being 2 seat only.

These specs may differ from yours as they are UK spec.

We also have the Countryman SUV, Clubman stationwagon, Coupe, Cabriolet and now Roadster.
