Last week I finally got time to replace my BPV. While swapping it out I found the line from the valve cover to the intake tub has a crack. How important is this line. I was wondering if I should worry about driving the car while I wait for a replacement.

    Thanks,

    Sean

I'd say as long as it is driving fine & throwing no codes it would be OK. But do replace it.

Strange thing is the check engine light never came on.

That line is for the PCV, and probably wouldn't throw a code unless it was a big hole or completely clogged.
