    Hello,
My '09 Mini Cooper just hit over 100k miles and I would like to get the Tranmission Fluid exchanged and also a valve adjustment. I wanted to know what prices I would be looking at and if anyone knows or can recommend a good place in southern California ? I'm located in the middle of Los Angeles and San Diego. Thank you!

We are in Thousand Oaks, Transmission service 200.00 plus fluid and tax, no valve adjust needed lifters are hydraulic. you should consider where you are mileage/time on brake fluid and coolant flushes as well as the condition of the serpentine belt at this mileage. Call us if we can help, 805-496-2300 tues-fri 8-530, sat 8-3 pm

I've heard of tyre (or indeed tire) rotation, but never valve rotation......

Thank you I meant valve adjustment ! Sorry for confusion. Most places where I live have quoted $400 for transmission fluid exchange. I was hoping to stay under $300...

$400 to change transmission fluid is highway robbery.

You might want to call Long Tran Motor Works. http://ltmotorwerks.com/

I have heard really good things bout his service. He id a BMW shop, but he does do things like carbon cleaning.

    300 is ok

I believe my price quoted above is 200 plus fluids and tax, should come out to abt 300.......
