We dont get the compressor, sealant, triangle, and emergency kit in the US. What you have sounds about right. Mine was delivered w/o anything but a tow hook in the foam thing. They sent a new kit to my house later on, as I guess quite a fe 09s got skipped.

Can the compressor and sealant be ordered from someplace? Might be nice to have. I had to get the first aid kit and triangle from a company in the UK.

Not sure if it is exact fit but you can get those easily from an Autozone or Pep Boys.

Just did some checking and Out Motoring sells one as well as Minamaina, but they don't look to fit in the tool kit in the boot.

If you check realoem, they list their "Mobility Kit" that comes in a traveling case that includes a compressor and a container of sealant for something like $150.00 or so.:eek6:
They also list the compressor and sealant separate for something like $130.00 or so. There is also a special tray part number listed as the "Mobility Tray", probably to hold the compressor and sealant as well as some of the other emergency tools. The handy thing about going the tray route is it will nest nicely in the boot well created for the tools. I guess you pay the price for the convenience, in a tightly packed small car. For what its worth.

The one from Aaron at Outmotoring contains the compressor and all the other stuff and it too is $150.

Great work guys, I appreciate it but I'm confused why we don't get them in the US?

On the compressor and sealant, they are available in the US as an option called the "mobility kit", you just have to pay extra for it. As for why it's not included, marketing maybe?
The Justa has a spare tire, so it's assumed it may not be needed. The non-Justa's come with run-flat tires (or tyres), so it's assumed it may not be needed.

The warning triangle that Jim alluded to is not a DOT requirement in the US, even though there is an indent for it in the boot panel. It is a requirement in Canada, so the Canadian MINI's have the triangle. Like Jim, I didn't like the dent not being filled with a MINI part, so I just ordered mine from the MINI dealer up in Toronto along with the MINI first aid kit. I'm thinking about the compressor.:D

Since the Justa has a spare tire, the tool kit also includes the wheel chock that happens to be a delete on the non-Justa's, so it's related to content.

Having done several tours in Europe, were we were required to buy a first aid kit and triangle for the cars we shipped over, I liked the idea of having them. Like Chuck, since the spots to have them were there, I ordered from NewMiniStuff in the UK.
