Since the engine can make full boost/torque by 1,250 RPM, there's no need to rev it up very much for launch control. Just timing it real crudely it looks like about 6.0 seconds to 100 kph, which is right there with the advertised numbers.
The engine sounds very good. It's also fascinating how quiet the cabin is; not until higher speeds do you hear any wind noise. Impressive.
