If ever I've seen a video where the volume knob is important, this is it! May not be the same on every system but on mine the trip from 7 to 10 is like an exponential increase in enjoyment. Turn it up...trust me. I used to go to Road America every year to watch these cars in the Can Am series races. Standing at the Start-Finish line when the green flag dropped was like being in a 120-decibel earthquake. There's nothing like it today. :frown5:
Here's the same guy/car having fun at the Monterey Historics, Laguna Seca. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqtBxqJraFg"]Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway Monterery Historics Onboard Can-am McLaren Jim Pace - YouTube[/ame]
One more...maybe. This one is at IMS, looks like the latest configuration of the road course. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxVcsQ9GDaQ"]McLaren M6B Can-Am car racing at Indy incar Jim Pace - YouTube[/ame]
How 'bout an M8F this time? Helmet cam view from historics at Laguna Seca. I'd rather the guy was a lot less tentative anywhere near the corners. Maybe the car is new to him plus according to the description "With more than 800hp under his right foot and not much downforce, Knoop is forced to respect the beast in the corners", but it's still plenty visceral whenever he lets it loose. Big deal, his laptime is only 41 seconds better than my best...:cornut: He missed twelve--it would have been even better. 2:06--That's cooking!
