if my '05 mini is fat and ugly, then the '15 Minis are morbidly obese

Air conditioning was not a Japan-only feature as they seem to think. I saw plenty of new classic Minis in UK showrooms and dealer lots in the '90s that had a/c. I think the difference is that all (or nearly all) Minis exported to Japan at that time had a/c so people seem to think Japan got all the cars with a/c.

What's MCM's fascination with E85 fuel? Is it some Australian thing? Nobody here wants the stuff. In fact, I'd love to see all ethanol disappear from our gasoline forever.

Why E85? More power. Not a Aussie thing at all. We have a dozen gas stations in town that sell the stuff. Don't confuse it with the diluted crap they call gasoline, as there it's really just a filler and a cheap anti knock additive. Without a tune and pure E85, nothing really happens, but if you do it right, your boosted Mini can put out far more power than with the regular dino juice

you forget about the E85 and Turbo Yoda/Haltech goodness.

These are the same guys who put a 267kw WRX STi engine into a VW Beetle and ran it under 11 sec.

I believe I remember 54% increase also. I wonder if changing the injectors location would do anything to the power output ?? Bottom line should be ten feet of kicka$$ fun !!
