Round 4 is next at VIR. We Race on Saturday.

We are 3rd in points to date.

    Schedule: http://www.grand-am.com/assets/2011V...alSchedule.pdf

195 Dicky Riegel and VJ Mirzayan
196 Ron farmer and Jason Hart
197 Randall Smalley and Chris Sarian
198 Owen Trinkler and Sarah Cattaneo

This will be the 1st time we field all four cars. We were having some engine supply problems due to breaking Crankshafts which has now been resolved. We now have enough engines (including spares) to field all four cars.

The 196 was on the pole at VIR last year but we don't expect to repeat that performance. Grand Am has hit us with some rule changes that have hurt us and we are working our way through the new handicaps.

We tested at VIR a few weeks ago and had some good results so we have the set up and should be ready to go.

VIR will be televised Sunday May 22, 1:00 PM ET, SPEED

    6th and 7th at VIR

195 Dicky Riegel and VJ Mirzayan P-19
196 Ron farmer and Jason Hart P-6
197 Randall Smalley and Chris Sarian DNF
198 Owen Trinkler and Sarah Cattaneo P-7

Owen and Sarah are now 2nd in the points standings!

197 lost the drive belt at lap 15 due to a pulley failure :(. . . just some bad luck not a trend.

After the last race those results have to feel great, esp. the P-6 & 7!

I watched the Rolex race today and the first hour (+/-) was a rain drenched mess! I think the Speed commentators said the earlier Conti race was dry until near the end...or something like that. Did the weather have any effect on your race?

Do you guys take any in car video?

I'd love to see some of these races from the "in-the-MINI" point of view!
