AIDS LIFE held their annual gala over the weekend, raising money for HIV prevention and education projects around the world. Every year Mini provides a special edition model for auction, with proceeds from the sale going directly to the charity. The Life Ball event, held in Vienna, Austria, auctioned off a one-off Mini Roadster designed by Italian Vogue editor and UN Goodwill Ambassador for "Fashion 4 Development," Franca Sozzani. The exterior of the roadster was finished in matte purple and features high-gloss black wheels and grille. Gold Mini rally stripes and touches on the wheels give off a very elegant effect with a decorative floral theme moves from the roof into the interior for a terrific tie-in. "Flowers are a symbol of joy and life. And the Life Ball is always fighting for life and joy," said Sozzani.
