So.....after a little jaunt in the hills today....sorry guys....not a car in this months competition can hold a candle to a modded up R53 :biggrin5: The sounds, the smell, the instantaneous acceleration, the razor sharp handling.....sorry peeps....but pictures and pink hearts....are not what a Mini is about :arf: A Mini is meant to be drivin, and drivin hard! :beer

 

being an internet forum, it's hard to vote on anything but what we can see..... with that said, and even with my very opposing views on the mods you've done to your car aesthetically, i gotta say you have the right attitude! When you're sitting behind the wheel of that mini, ripping through some curves, what's putting a smile on your face? It's not some silly stickers or a roof rack that's for sure.

 

If I was going off of peoples attitude, and campaigning, I would have voted for the stock clubby.

That's all fine and dandy. The people who choose to approach you about your car typically aren't going to say they hate it lol. And on the same note, the cool thing about anyone's opinion other than your own(myself included), they don't matter one lick! It's your car. You put a trendy outdated tattoo on it(sorry had to lol), and you love it. That's what matters. When you do something to your car, make it look better, go faster, cut in sooner, stop quicker, it's for YOU. You look at it more than anyone else, you drive it, we don't. Keep doing what you love man.

Aside from some sticker jokes all I've said here were replies to the paper n salt dudes ego and trash talk.... whatever either way, dude. I guess if you're here long enough you can talk about how there's "no competition" or no camera skills and **** like that but when a new member calls you out for being a cocky douche, its a problem. Ill keep my mouth shut in here from now on, but I hope this has nothing to do with MY thread elsewhere where people are getting butt hurt for me not giving a certain vendor a reach around like I guess I'm supposed to.

 

Been away from the thread a bit, I still like tribal, as that is what I voted.

I have enjoyed all the pictures and the banter, I do not enjoy egos, large or small.

May the best MINI win, it is a fun contest each month, getting in the spirit and being a community player has it's benefits.

Just my parting thoughts, waiting for the final vote, a few more quality pictures and some tasteful comments.

Just that we're all mature adults here, and the only thing worse than a tattle tale is a middle aged tattle tale.

 

It would be more believable (that you didn't care) if you hadn't just put three consecutive posts in a row. That's a lot of effort to prove you don't care. Just sayin'.
