If you don't mind me asking...how much money do you have invested in your Clubman?How does it do in snow?

 

That Clubman never sees snow!!! It's MINT condition. It's hands down the nicest Clubman I've ever seen with all the mods tastefully done. It could go back in the showroom tomorrow if necessary.


My Clubman S sees snow as I drive it all year around and its seen many winters as it now has 100k km on it. I have a set of snows for it as well. It's been great in the winter IMHO.

 

I invested far less than it looks... The (well known) secret is to look for good deals on MINT parts on various forums and for sale boards. My last great find was a pair of UNUSED brand new JCW BBK calipers that I got on local KIJIJI board for $300 (!!!)...



Waiting for those since my R50, quite a few years ago... I will be putting those on PEPPERNSALT with the first spring sun, together with "half price" drilled and slotted JCW rotors I got on sale at local dealer...




Than, another recent deal was FULL SET of Wet Okole seat covers, that I picked up on eBay for dirt cheap from someone who sold his/hers MINI...




And the rear, of course!





So, you get the point. It is part of the FUN for me to hunt for deals like this, and to mount as many parts (as I know how) by my self...


As far as winter driving goes, my Clubman is lowered and acts as a snow plow:biggrin5::biggrin5::biggrin5:... So, it mostly stays indoors, as driving it in a big city with big traffic and lots of idiots who don't know how to drive in snow and don't care is NO FUN!
Here, where I live there is no "twisty roads", just lot of local traffic with street cars... Again, no fun...
That is why my Clubby is in MINT shape, just ask Tominizer:biggrin5::biggrin5:

 

I love the color of your Clubman, but I am thinking about a BRG Clubby.

 

Hmm......i think theres more than two Minis this month......
