Just what the world needs, more tiny short range $60,0000 electric gadget cars.
Because BMW is having such a huge success with the i3 (NOT!)

I guess I came off a little harsher than I intended.....BMW is not selling hordes of i3's, and I think most of the problem is the $60K price (with range extender) however, I am not against small, cool electric cars - on the contrary I would like to have one to run around town in myself - just not at these huge price points. I suppose given time the prices will moderate, or maybe like the Nissan Leaf, drop like a rock once they're used.

I could see maybe 30% of 2 car households having an electric car for LOCAL stuff...it is an opportunity. -
