    Yes it looks just like the Coupe and it is also very Bug-ly.

    My 1st car was a '65 bug, and I learned to drive in my mom's '64? bug ragtop. I loved them both. I thought VWs have been getting uglier ever since then until I saw the 2012. I think they are headed back in the right direction, and this is too.

    The concept is deeper in VW roots than MINI can claim in MINI roots.

    Looking at this one, which I like, I believe it is the way the new ones stream line the roof over a full size body that makes it look odd to my eye. This looks balanced.

    That's because back when the 356 was designed no one wore their baseball hats on backwards. There was no impetus for the designers to base their work....:idea:
