Hi everyone - I'm in the market for my first Mini Cooper, following an accident (not at fault!) that totaled my last car. I figure I should go for the car I want while I'm still young! I live in Arizona (Phoenix) and will travel around the state only if needed. I prefer to buy from a private dealer and I've been keeping an eye on Craigslist but haven't seen anything yet. Unfortunately I know exactly what I want, which is why I'm having such a tough time. Anyway, this is what I'm looking for: A Mini Cooper Hardtop (base or S model, OR JCW, but I doubt anyone would sell one to me for this price!) Automatic transmission A newer model that still includes the factory warranty, or an older model with very few miles that has an extended warranty Less than 40,000 miles preferred, as I plan on keeping this car for a while Yellow, blue, or red (preferably no black stripes, unless it's on a yellow Mini. White stripes on any color are a big plus) I'd prefer to stay around $16,000, though will consider any others only if the price is <90% KBB value, for loan purposes Thanks for looking! If anyone has any suggestions on other places to look, I'd be glad to hear them. I'm really missing not having a car (bus stops in 110 degree heat aren't any fun). Rebecca
