and then you have to consider running up on this as you come out of one of those blind corners...... early AM Wed oak tree across the Dragon before the overlook; Luckily TN roadcrew was just getting to it as I pulled up (MINIBee and another guy in gIIGP squeaked thru before they closed road). I ran back and flagged down incoming til enough were there to not get my car hit (hehehe) after that passed a semi coming down :mad2: spent 30 min at Tabcat and ran all the way back clear as the day! :cornut:

I have had instances like these happen at the Dragon before, so now part of my travel kit includes a wicked-looking [and very useable] heavy duty pruning saw for those times when a road crew is nowhere in sight to clear the highway. I know it is dangerous, but sometimes one has to clear some sort of a pathway in order to safely continue his/her journey without sliding off the highway...or worse.
