They don't have the mapping right but still cleared us onto the track and said it was OK . . . obviously it was not.
Sarah Q'd 6th
Craig Q'd 38th
The cars are quick and inspite of the 198 . . . we are feeling pretty good.

As good as the Bosch engineers are, one would think that their actual time tuning a Mini Cooper motor would be a very small fraction of your former tuner's at best....

This must be very frustrating for you and Owen, when was the last time the 198 finished a race?

What happened to the former tuner, from what I had read there was a pretty decent match of need and expertise? I damn sure would never expect to blow a motor due to a bad tune with your former tuner at the keyboard. -
Another dismal day, guess the results speak for themselves....

The lead cars ran 63 laps.
RSR #197 classified as 30th, 49 laps completed.
196 36th, 23 laps
198 withdrawn (see above, blown engine...during the 1st practice I think)
Such a shame, sorry guys. -

Ya know there are often times when a race team that is not progressing as desired will make wholesale changes between seasons. In this case it seems as if that is what happened. The tuner and race prep shop were all changed. As we can see it has yet to gel.
You forget that the Bosch MINI setup is very new, motors are going to break. -
Per Randy, Bosch is only on the 198 which blew up trying to qualify
