You will love it when you all come to Colorado. I'm in western co (desert clime.) You will be in the mountains where it's cooler. -

I lived in the Springs and Denver for a few years and loved it there, before I moved to Sandy Eggo.......
If it's anything here like it is now come August, the mountains will be a welcome respite!
We're actually having a pretty nice week, with clear skies and way less humididity - next week when I'm supposed to go to the track again, it's supposed to storm off and on all week. So far, I'm 0 for 3 on track days this year, rained out on all of em! -

Going down to the upper 50's here overnight
. No rain in sight, so I need to water the gardens for the first time this year.

Just an update, 72 to 75 degrees each day. A stray thunder shower here and there its been beautiful. Observations from the base of Winter Park Resort, looking forward to seeing everyone. Marc (Silver Creek Outfitters)in WPResort

It's 102F in the shade of our carport right now, with the heat index it is pushing 115F, yuck. Got off work early, so it's time to retest my theory that beer fixes everything

3rd day in a row over 104F with the only relief in site is me leaving town on Sunday.

Wat a difference a month makes, eh Lotsie?
July 1 everything is mahhhhhhvelous....
August 1, we seemed to have moved right next door to hell! -
lotsie Club CoordinatorIt's hot back in the Peg now too. But they have 10,000 mosquitoes per cubic foot right now:shocked:

Same as yesterday here, 100+, index or not. I not acclimatizing:rolleyes5:. I did just do some weed whacking, using Roundup:lol:
Mark -
Now that is my kind of weed whacking. My wife does all the mowing using a John Deere 2210. I told her I was not going to weed whack again until I can find one with a seat and a hydrostatic clutch. I'm still looking.

We just had a cool front move thru, I don't think it's much over 90* right now......:rolleyes5:
-
lotsie Club CoordinatorI think that front, and thunder storms are headed this way.
Mark -
lotsie Club CoordinatorHow about a small dozer, take em down to the roots:lol:

Hummmm. That could work. Hit 104 here today, but now it is raining now. I can always tell without looking, because the fox hound and one of the greyhounds crawl under my desk at the first hint of thunder.

You would never know a storm was coming with the Lab, she could care less, but the rescue mutt gets under the desk long before I hear anything.
Looks like no storms here, radar shows it all tracking north of us. Could drop into the 60's Friday night though:cornut:
Mark -
That is interesting, as both of mine are rescues. On the other hand the other greyhound is also a rescue and she lays on the couch, on her back, feet in the air and watches the lighting through the bay window. She could care less.
