That is interesting, as both of mine are rescues. On the other hand the other greyhound is also a rescue and she lays on the couch, on her back, feet in the air and watches the lighting through the bay window. She could care less. Jim
My Lab sleeps on the couch with legs in the air, just like the girls from Montreal:ihih: We have not hit 90F today, feels like fall Mark
We are now getting into record setting here in D/FW, 18 days in a row of 100F or more with the long term forecast the same, 100+ for the next 7 days at least. I miss the cool air of Winter Park.
Not real hot here, mid-to upper 80's. Supposed to get hotter later in the week, but I don't care, as it will be low to mid 70's in Sandy Eggo while I'm there. Mark
We got home just in time last night to see the temps move up again in KC. A few KC MINIacs are going to Heartland Park this weekend for the Vintage races, it will be mid-high 90's and humidity to match..........sighs........ I miss the cool, dry weather and clear skies of Winter Park too....
I'm kinda bummed that we had so much cloud cover yesterday and it only hit 96F breaking the 18 day streak of 100F or more. We are headed into at least another week of really high temps and we could have had a new record. Instead we now have to settle for 18 days in a row only being 7th longest in the streak.
I am missing it big time. Back to 90+ and weather forecast mentioning Heat Indices........... :cryin:
They are calling for possible record highs here in San Diego today, with temps hitting 82F:eek6:. Mark
Our low overnight equalled the daytime highs in Winter Park last week......... It's definitely trending downward tho, if we could just get the humididity to do the same.....
Not too bad here in St Louis for the next few days. Looks like I'll be having San Diego weather here. Low 80's during the day, 50's at night. Perhaps fall is not far away. I'm sick of the heat & humidity!
79 High Sunny and Clear with a Low of 55 and no humidity. Talk about the weather... Only think going to Buckeye Country!
77 here now in Jersey, but our last? heat wave is starting Sunday, mid 90's for like a week staight!!!
Back in the mid 90's all week. Suppose to be high 70"s, low 80's starting Saturday. I sure hope they are right. Jim
Hermine is certainly giving North Texas a good soaking with a flash flood watch in effect through Thursday morning due to a potential of 4-8 inches of rain forecast.
