I believe that thread was a casualty. :mad2:

Is there any flow data available for the CNC ported head?
-
No, ENDYN does not share flow “numbersâ€. Flow bench numbers only represent flow capacity, they are not a measurement of air speed, nor can they be indicative of the intake port’s ability to maintain air/fuel mixture quality. ENDYN chooses to keep the whole “data†picture private.
David Reher wrote a relevant article on the flow bench number subject more than ten years ago. #16- Flow Bench Fallacies Reher-Morrison Official Blog -
ENDYN’s flow bench is very sophisticated, not only can flow volume per time be measured, measurements of laminar flow, velocity, and swirl can be measured as well; flow quality is essential in the combustion process, not just flow quantity.
ENDYN’s flow bench incorporates a tool for measuring swirl behavior; swirl helps fuel remain in a suspended state for more efficient combustion.
ENDYN fabricated a jig for measuring flow through the head with the intake manifold in place; an important tool for optimizing normally aspirated applications.
ENDYN is able to maintain flow velocity at lower RPM using larger valves, by skillfully crafting throat shapes and custom valve seats designed for each application. The R50 Cooper can benefit from a Mid-Size valve just like the supercharged R53 can. The R53 ENDYN ported head can maintain low RPM performance with Max-Size valves because of ENDYN’s custom throat and seat treatment.
An interesting project is going on at ENDYN; Larry has redesigned the engine used in US Postal Service Vehicles. To this date, fuel economy has been increased 100%. Below is a comparison of the USPS intake manifold split in half (bottom example) and the ENDYN version above it. The original IM (and head) had major wetting issues.
Other projects in the works, Larry’s Corvette Grand Sport is a car nut’s wet dream; a 600hp motor riding in a 2,200lb chassis, oh my. And, super compact high HP motors designed for Honda North America (shown upside down).

ENDYN always does top quality work!

I'd guess
no volume of MINI orders! Really, if more people went to Endyn for parts, there would be more parts from Endyn. Seems pretty simple to me....

Yes...
Schrick is doing cams for the Prince engine, and Thumper has done a head or two. Get in touch with him for details on it. I haven't heard much about the Schrick cams, other than they exist.

It's too bad I don't have more photos saved of that engine, the low profile billet valve cover for the other side was ultra trick.
Here's one with an ENDYN plenum.
The best individual throttle bodies.

I didnt know if it was appropriate to post this in here or not, but here it is
Im having my engine built by ENDYN right now (going through werkinmini) I had not posted on this forum yet and thought i would:
strip,clean and bore
zero clearance deck
ported oil jackets
new/modified oil pump
balance new crank and bearings
ENDYN pistons
anti-friction coatings
Crower rods
ported intake manifold
new timing chain and tensioner
ATI crank pulley
new gaskets
I am sure i am forgetting some things, but ill take care of that when i can. Keith has been such a fantastic friend throughout all of my car troubles haha so i just wanted to thank him for helping me though this build.
Still waiting on my crank to get here form germany, but once that gets in, the building will commence -

Chase, any update on the motor?

The engine build has been completed and is awaiting transport.
