What should I torque the bolts to with the spacers. I have them 100 lb ft now and was thinking of using loctite on the threads...any suggestions as these of the first spacers I've use in 60 years of motoring.

Just the standard 103.whatever it is will be fine. No need to use loctite.

My .02 is that spacers introduce a failure point. If one wants that look of wheels sticking out farther I'd recommend buying wheels with the correct offset to give you that look. Again justa my .02 & worth every penny.

These are factory JCW Mini wheels. I have the OE retrofit kit for limiting the steering and rather than limit steering travel I used 12mm spacers.
Just for information...as I'm a retired mechanical engineer...it's not the spacer that introduces the failure point, it's the lugs that fail...hence 38mm lugs which are longer to account for the 12mm spacer.
If you were to buy cheap spacers like on Epray I suppose if they didn't have the ring to mate to the OE Mini wheel or the ring to mate with the hub you could have movement and break studs and the studs could fracture the spacer...you guy cheap stuff and stuff happens, especially on suspension parts.
Just thought you would should know it's the lugs that take most of the moment of force, not the spacer.
My wheels and tires do not stick out beyond the body.

No way I'm going to contradict what an engineer has to say. What railroad did you work for? :biggrin5:
