Unfortunately I just had to add a new Alternator to my list. :mad2:
Well at least it is done now and did not fail on the way too or on the Dragon.
Great catch by the guys at Helix while doing my PreDragon inspection / tune up. -

Complete pre-trip going over at MAG for the MC-cvt, including new brake fluid.
Replace rear struts and tophats on the MCSa.
Whichever car gets done first is the one I'll bring to MOTD. -
This year it's just a short shift kit, unless they find something while doing a pre-Dragon check at the same time.
-
Oh yeah,
- Dealer replaced oil line for the turbo along with the updated heat shield
- Replaced the transmission seal on the output shaft
- New gasket on valve cover to stop leak

Decided to tackle carbon removal with walnut shell blasting for the beginning of my dragon prep yesterday. 08 mcs at 80k miles....it was way overdue....
No after pics, but the fruits of labor are plenty. Power is back to like new. Will be towing trailer with bike with me, so extra "umph" needed for trip.
Next weekend, oil change and cleanup. -
This week the MINI heads to the shop for:
Brake Fluid Flush
Oil Change
Gear Oil Change
Coolant Flush
Then off to the detailers. -
