To prep a car for wrapping I would remove all stickers and stripes and strip in down with a car soap and Dawn.

This will remove all wax and other dressings on the paint that would cause the wrap to not stick correctly.

Most places will wipe down the car with and alcohol mixture to do this panel as they apply the wrapping so you would be helping them out.

Fyi_ matte black looks like your car covered in primer and is a pain in the butt to keep that dry matte look. This is because oil from your hands and roads will make it shine and you need to wipe it down with a quick detailed made for matte wraps.

Thanks Dave. I told my wife about my plan she is against me touching the Helmet. She said the R53 paint is what needs covering up, she may be right.
    I'm board! When is spring!

Thanks Dave and I wonder why the helmet's paint needs work! Those sponge shammy are not my friend.

Dave do you know what to do to prepare your car to be wrapped and will a wrap hurt the paint? As I do when I can't sleep I was laying awake thinking, this is not good for me.:D The thought came to me to wrap the Helmet flat black.
