Don't get behind Blimey, in case he tries some off road excursions, like he did year before last. Happy Birthday, by the way. Jim
I had a ring side seat to the action, being about 10 feet from his boot when he began his Dukes of Hazzard imitation... choosing not to follow of course...lol Thanks for the Birthday wishes!!
 It's wierd quoting myself, I feel like it's a posting faux-pas' or something. Even with all the stuff I already planned to do I got a little crazy last w/e and cracked open my headlights to do my "very first" Joey Mod, and while I was in there I added some led's to my projector trim ring. Yes it all went great and I'm even going to get in there again this w/e to change something thats bugging me, considering it was my first one and only 2 weeks before the Dragon, I may want to consider having my head examined when I get back.
Following in a new tradition noted above, I will quote myself. Aux-pump recall is done, oil and filter done, cabin-filter done, 3rd safety check done by me, shop #1 and now the dealer. Dealer tech who has worked on my MINI since new, noted the new EBC reds and how the DBA4000 rotors are holding up well since he changed them out for me last year. Ready, now for the fun drive out and back and a few days in NC. Don
Do you have any pics of Joey Mods? I just read about this mod yesterday, thinking of doing one as well. Thanks
I had some "modification" done to my mini yesterday...when it got backed into by a dodge durango...driven by my commanding officer! FML...on a good note...its a 3-4 day repair job and its going in monday so i should still be on track to be at the dragon on time...but before she goes in im gonna go and finish the R56 brake retrofit to my R53 by doing the rears
Tonight it's wash outside then into garage for clay, amigo and epic for the next couple days. Bad rain storm coming late tomorrow all day Sunday and Monday so plenty of time...... Oh and replace spark plugs as well......
Found the next two reordered books in the series I am reading. One is already in the CD player and the other qued up on the MP3 Player ready to go. Simply start engine, push play and head south west. Jim
Just picked up mine from having the front bumper repainted and also had the wheels/tires balanced and rotated.
Was sick and couchbound last Friday-Sunday, and on the road working much of this week. So my 4-5 days of prep time have been slashed to maybe 2 days. Will have time for the bare essentials, but probably won't have time for a full detail w/polish this year. Oh well. Blimey will look "driven". Only time I ever won a car show award at MOTD was as Dirty Dog immediately following the Dukes of Hazzard incident. After that, Blimey let himself go.
