Now you just need to bleach and power-wash the driveway. Your car looks great.

Sorry, but my MINIs don't seem to believe in fine detailing anymore. Hell, even washing them seems more and more rare.

    Pictures or it didn't happen!

About a month ago we were at a car lot and they had a White GTI with plaid interior. It looked great. My wife said if she didn't have her convertible she would want it. She really fell in love with it. But she loves her MINI.

Washing 2 of my MINIs during the winter or when there is a lot of slushy salt on the roads will save on repair bills, but I don't drive the R50 in the winter...at all. enginewise and inside the cabin, the cars are clean [except for my R53, which is impermeated with cigar smoke/ash].

I am glad you are back! Sorry to hear the business, I know a lot of photographers are hurting right now. I hope it turns around for you very soon.

I'll try to snap a picture in the next day or two, but I'm sure every R56 owner knows the %$@#&* part. The top half of the shift knob has a purely cosmetic cap that is chrome with the six-speed shift pattern on it. The little plastic tabs that hold them on snap off. Some bean counter decided MINI could save 43-cents on every car with this part.

How does your car get dusty in your garage? Your garage looked so clean the last time I saw pictures of it, I thought you had an air filtration system built in.

I can't get into my garage. A really big tree fell on the corner of the detached garage from the neighbor's property and tweaked the building so that none of the doors open. I have a contractor coming out tomorrow to brace the garage and take the doors off of it so I can empty it out prior to rebuilding it . None of the cars or the motorcycle inside were damaged. My neighbors were there in minutes with chainsaws and a mini excavator to clear the tree from across the driveway so that the power company trucks could access the transformer that was jerked loose of the utility pole in my yard. and restore power. The tree also crushed my other neighbor's shop. I'll have plenty of firewood for next winter.

Yes, I agree with the commentary and Dave.0, that is really high, I will ask around and see what the folks in Colorado are getting for the high end cars for cleanup, detail and cereamic coating.

Also, on BAT if you are interested to watch a 38K 05 MINI.

I was about to brag about taking my sweet wife's MINI through the touchless warsh this morning. Now I can't, I did spend $10 doing it. ;)

You know those touchless car warsh are worse than touching car warsh tunnels because of the super strong chemicals they use. They are so strong theydestroy any wax and sealants. The only reason your car beads at the end is because they rise with soft DI ionized water.
