I daresay your resonated Milltek is for a MINI and not a super-modified whatever you might call it once the new engine is put together...only a MINI in body. That poor resonated Milltek is about to get its resonator blown off.

 

Was just reading the Articles section on some past MINI April Fools announcements. How did I miss this one? I would have been all for it.

Going batty. Working long hours from home. No time to get out and drive much. In fact, it sounds like we might get locked down soon. In a moment of "what do I do now?", I found a magnet sheet and cut 3" circle and stuck this sticker that came in the mail the last time I renewed my membership. My car will wear it when they let me out and allow me to cross the border again.




With it on the grill badge holder, my car should be good for an extra 10th of a second, right?

 

The one flag should be German not a Union Jack.

The pot calling the kettle black? I found it amusing, but I'm not quite right. If that had a German flag I could run one on my GTI.

 

Actually, it should have been a British and Welsh flag.

 

The MK1 new MINI has an engine built in Brazil by an American company. The MK2 new MINI has a French engine. Man that badge is going to need a bunch more flags.

 

Nice of your tire guy to do that for you. The place I use won't do it due to COVID restrictions.

 

Dave... that engine just doesn't look right without the black cauliflower-like growth of oil and road dust all over the front of the block! Looks great!

 

Did you notice no black plastic tube with crappy green gasket feeding the TVS?
