The paint on my car & wheels are in good shape. Every other time I wash the car I pull the wheels and clean them inside and out then wipe them down before I put them back on. I wipe the car down twice. and most of the time I polish it. I looked at some of the work they were doing on other cars and part of reason the on the time line is they take some of the parts off the car to apply the coating such as grilles and bolt on parts. Then when they coat the car it covers all the paint even under were the bolt on's are. I am still thinking about it.

I forgot the labor rate here is around $275.00 per hour at dealers and some were around $200.00 at other shops.

The way you take care of your car is way above what others do. The price they quoted is still way too high even if they do that stuff.

Don I was going to ask the same questions as Chuck. That’s the same transmission they put in the GP. How is it?

It's good to know that you are well, even if restricted to your activities. I have aged relatives who live in Dallas and worry about them a lot, since they are in their upper 90s.

So, which is worse...having a rat problem or a RATT one [YEAHHHHHHHHHHH]?

That’s why you have to use low heat and remove the film Slowly with the glue on it . It takes a long time but it’s better then the situation you are in now.

I should have tried a blow dryer instead of the heat gun. The fiberglass does not hold the heat like I am use to.

Good call on getting those replacement certificates for the new JCW tires Don. I always get those when I buy new tires. It has always paid off for me.

The Helmet I love that car. That is not a bad idea but I am too picky about it, and now that is is for sale I don't want to take the chance. Speaking of the Helmet. The couple of weeks sitting in the hot Memphis sun made the HK amp go out! This is the second time. That happened the summer before last. I would never spend the money on an HK unit! It's tucked away in the garage now. The Lotus lives outside under a cover.
