I always like it when I go in with a plan and then everything goes exactly as I expect it to .... it’s a very rare instance so I really savor the times of success.

Good you had a good track day, not sure I like that fuzz in the pipe, makes me thing you might have had something else breaking in the engine, check the compression and other bits as time and warmth allows.

Thanks for the info, Chuck. As I see it, it will either go to a guy who does auto glass repair here in town or to MAG. Either way, my insurance should cover it. It's about time I got "something" out of all the auto insurance bills I've had to pay.

I can live with it for awhile, unless it spreads farther. Right now, I have just too many bills to worry about and the glass repair is at the tail end of things that need to be addressed.

 

I'm sure if you have it done at MAG it will be done correctly.

 

I need an oil change anyway.

Nice that you are keeping the beautiful silk green MINI out of the carp they spray on the roads.

Have you seen the weather forecast? The European model shows a load of winter weather for us Saturday & Sunday. The US model shows not as much for us here, but more for Piqua. Better get those snow shoes laced up.

 

Leave those summer shoes on. There is going to be a meeting of the summer tire club.
