You did a job well done, polishing the engine bay of this car.

Yes the freeways have become a free for all. Like you said go the speed limit & get run over. As far as cops doing anything, our state patrol will pull an idiot driver over on the interstates out of town. In town no way. The local police don't bother, they are just phoning it in these days. Can't say that I blame them. What a terrible job to have.
Cars running red lights & stop signs. I see it every time I'm out. So many people looking at their farking phones it's just nuts. Be careful out there.-

Well I finally received the reset of my parts installed and buttoned up yesterday. Hooked up the battery no love. Had it tested today and the said it was , tried charging it, got low readings and it was losing a charge just sitting there. Sucked it up and bought a new one, hooked it up no love. Starting to get a little irritated. Anyone have any ideas?

I failed at an attempt to install new PIAA wiper blades on my 2018 F60 Countryman.
I bought a set of PIAA Sitech wiper blades for the Countryman from my local Lordco a couple of months ago and my wife didn't want them installed yet. So I finally go around to it. It appears MINI used a different wiper mount with each generation and facelift of the MINI. The wiper mount on my R53 is different than the 2013 R56 Cooper (which was different than all the other R56 years) and now, the F60 Countryman has a totally different mount than PIAA has an adapter for.
Since I have had the blades for more than a couple of months, I can't return them. auurrgghh. -

Back up a few months, I had GIR at the dealership for a check engine light that appeared after they did some recall work. I wish I could remember what the code was but they said it was either MAP sensor or the hose leading to it, or that is where they would start. They had neither in stock so I ordered them myself and replaced the MAP and all the other things they pointed out during their inspection, except for the hose. It looks like an extreme pain, more than I really wanted to go through at the time.
Back to real time, I have GIR “running” again but he has thrown a few faults - DTCs. From my research I have found that most suggested resetting the adaptations. It took a few attempts and I am down to one code that will just not go away, P1239 “DME; pressure sensor, intake manifold before compressor, input to low when engine stopped. “ Before I start ripping things apart again, has anyone run across this before. I am having a hard time with how pressure can be to low with nothing running.
