Thanks for sharing your nice pictures Don. Lots of sweet cars on display. I'm a sucker for the vintage iron.

Did tell you all I retired last week. Spent the week dismantling all that computing gear and sending it back to my employer in Dallas. Then organized a sunset drive along the coast in the Vancouver BC area. That was fun.

Nice turnout for the sunset drive. I’m sure that you will enjoy your retirement more than you ever imagined.

I needed to move the Helmet so I thought I would take him for a drive. Battery was dead, that happens when they sit with no battery tender. Put the charger on it and got it cranked. I drove it for about 5 minuets and stopped for gas. Yes I was dumb enough to turn the motor off, no it did not crank. A nice guy saw my pushing it way from the pumps an gave me a jump. Drove home put it back on the charger for about 5 hours. It cranks fine. Tomorrow I will drive it to church then lunch.

does anyone know anywhere I could get a HK amp fixed? I am on my second one. If I leave the car out side in the heat it kills the amp. HK is crap!

I hear that garages work wonders in keeping your prized possessions out of the weather. :D:D

@checkers I pray she will be ok. I know it must not be easy. Last Friday I went to my aunts 100 birthday. When I got there she was standing up talking to everyone. She is still active. I don’t know how she does it. I’ll be 59 in a few months. If you are older than me and still active I have respect for you. As a friend of mine use to say, getting old is not for the faint of hart.

Well thanks for that.... I misunderstood the saying....

Here I thought it was "Getting old is to faint and fart"

Now I'll need to change my ways....

The plan yesterday was to drive the MINI to work but the battery was dead or I should say to weak to start. I will put it on the charger today and maybe I can drive it tonight.
