Took care of a couple of service items.

Did my first brake fluid flush, the first time I'd used my BavAuto pressure bleeder device. Made it darned simple.

Drained and refilled the manual trans. At 47k miles, the original oil still looked very serviceable, really about like new. I went with RedLine MTL for the fill, having heard so many recommendations.

And then swapped in my summer wheels/tires. Just in time for a winter storm front that's passing through today!

FINELY decided the garage was warm enough to toss my new intercooler boots on...(been sitting in their bags by the toolbox for MONTHS....
Old ones were stiff...and appeared to shrunk a bit...had not changed them cause they were not leaking YET and were not torn YET...but rubber in an engine bay...was only a matter of time...
    One thing to note....
My intercooler was basicly dry and clean...no gunk or moisture....was surprised at how clean it was since I don't run a catch can....guess it means my motor is still in good shape!!

Just installed Optima Red Top in RDNZL. After 9 years the original battery was getting weak!

Cleaned a few things up, applying the 50/50 to the side markers again. Noticed how GIR's eyes tied in with the new plate.[IMG]

Finished fixing the dings and clear coating my wheels. Not the greatest job (I'm not a pro) but okay.

Helped Seth put on his sway bar.

That will never happen. It adds character. I'm thinking of mounting retractable tommy guns in the fenders.

Had breakfast with a bunch of my buds at Tommy's this morning.... Went back to the shop and told stories around my partially disassembled MINI...

Helped make a Texas MINI legal in Ohio...

Helped out another Miniac.... Put a little spring in his life.... Really did do this.

Discussed the pro's and con's of a leopard skin MINI valve cover...

All in all a good morning...
