My mom's dementia has recently progressed to Alzheimers. So part of my time that I gained back from retirement will be spent looking after my parents. Gives me an excuse to drive my MINI every day from the burbs back into Vancouver (BC).

What is an oil flush? Is it different from a regular oil change?

Good question. I got curious and looked it up and ……. there is a difference. Flush uses some kind of chemicals to break up sludge etc. and after that is drained one does an oil change.

Extra nice, just motoring with friends and getting lost together, who could ask for more. Nice to see a bunch of enthusiasts on video. Thanks for sharing.

In the old days this would be no problem. You could put a gas can on the passenger floor and run a line to the fuel pump.
Come to think of it this may work you will just have to tap into the return line also. Think how impressed you wife would be! :D

Bit of a bummer but if’n that’s what it takes to get rain in California and the west coast then they should schedule a few more British car shows.

The airbag light came on on my MINI, so I brought it to the dealer to clear the code. It turned out to be a bad wire in the driver's seat airbag (In the seat itself). They said that they have to change out the airbag for about $900.00.
They cleared the code, but if you lean the seatback down the airbag light comes back on. They had no drivers seat airbags in stock and have to order it. I figure that for $900.00 I don't have to lean the seat back. Has anyone here changed out an airbag? What tool is needed to reset an airbag light?
