The chrome was going to be the problem child and you now have it and the powder coating is scheduled to be delivered in the nick of time. Not a perfect scenario but better than the no way in hell can we get your stuff by the needed date.

 

I guess all my begging worked they called me later yesterday to tell me the power coating was ready. 2 days early. Now I have a week to get ready.

 

You gotta love it when a plan comes together.

 

I agree with you … driving my MINI makes me grin ear to ear.

 

What radio and speakers are you using ??

 

When I first looked at the picture I thought Scooby was getting a massage at Herb’s.

 

She is fondling that new chrome piece. Guess she is into mustaches.

 

Went to a BMW club car show (more of a show-off than an actual show) at Autobahn Raceway in conjunction with their track driving school.

We had about a dozen MINIs attending including this crazy 300+ horsepower Classic.

Also got about 20 minutes of moderate speed lunchtime lapping on the track.

How did you make out at the car show ??

 

Hard to believe anyone could say anything other than Checkers looks amazing.

 

They posted the winners list today and Checkers won his class

I don’t know what you could possibly do to make Checkers any better looking but you have about a month to try.

 

Sad...beaten by a lawn mower.

 

Curious as to how they knew it was three inches further back ??

 

I guess then they put it on the rack they must have measured it somehow. Who knows. I'm looking for a stock system then I'll have just about 2 of everything.

 

Darn that sucks checkers. I am so glad we don't have those checks where I live.

 

We have it but they don’t open the hood and they check for the catalytic converter with a mirror.
