If’n I waited for a minimum 70* degree weather in Northeast Ohio I’d miss out on some spectacular driving days.

@Slofut Done right 300HP is doable, Just think how fun that would be! Add a stand clown ECU you may get more. ECU Masters has a P&P for the R53. Just saying:D

I wouldn't mind bolt on stuff as I'm pulling the motor and trans to catch up all the maintenance that's never been done, along with the clutch. Rt axle, timing chain kit, oil filter housing gasket, fr and rear main seals, water pump and stat, coolant bottle, silicone coolant hoses, sump gasket, whatever it takes to get it dry of oil leaks. Does a clutch kit come with a pilot bearing? Just noticed the oil light likes to come on at idle :Nailbiting:. Could be a game changer. Not going into the motor, have an xke and TR6 to get underway, an XJ6c ls swap and a 635csi to finish before I run out of time. Any usual suspects for low idle oil pressure? Oil pump would be doable while I have the front cover off, no ugly noises...

Easy checks for oil pressure would be oil level, oil filter, oil sensor, oil sensor wiring and then using a gauge.

Hi all. I'm back for now. My problem was I lost my wife on the 18th of December. We were married 49 years. It's hard to get use to being alone.
