Today I Packed the Mistress and added an extra case off beer. all I need to do now is get in and turn the key and go......:biggrin5:

I only have about 8 1/2 hours until I leave. But first I have having a nice steak Lunch, putting on the Flyers / Rangers game and going into a relaxing food coma /Nap.

After that it's just wake up, shower, have breakfast around 7 PM and leave for Fontana around 8- 8:30 PM tonight.

 

Finishing touches for the ride over Wednesday, just gotta pack it up.....

 

Drove home from the Dragon with two good friends and my son Blake. His first year driving the Dragon and not riding with me. He did great! Once again this past week reminded me why I continue to own a MINI, hang with MINI owners and friends and enjoy what this amazing car does for my mental health. Thank you everyone that made this week another great one!

 

All washed/waxed and talked to after the trip back from the Dragon. Everyone

is now happy.

 

Washed off the Dragon dirt

 

Yesterday I stood at my back window and watched it as the torrential downpour and pea-sized hail scoured some of the bugs and accumulated tree sex off.

 

I let some high school kids wash my car :eek6:

Then I went home and washed it again myself.

My kid is graduating from high-school. Had to support their fund raisers.

 

I did not do anything with my MINI today since is home in PA and I an in CA but I did fart in my rental a few times. :ihih::lol:

 

Washed, Wiped down with distilled apple vinegar. Clay bar, Then sealed with Synthetic Wax. All in Preparation for Bimmerfest on Saturday. :beer

 

Installed my starter this morning and it fired right up! There was never any doubt.

 

Yesterday drove down to my new temporary home in Ft. Lee, VA. Today, enjoyed my ~5mile commute to the classroom... versus my normal 25+mile commute to work. The next three months should help to keep the miles down on the ol' MINI.

 

I thought about washing my car later today..... I am leaning towards a nap.

That being said I left mine in the garage all nice & clean while I ran errands in Babs MINI. It is OK her's was dirty. :smilewinkgrin:

 

I took a friend to lunch. On our way back to work, a Pepper White Mini with black bonnet stripes pulled out in front of me, and I found myself wishing for a blue Mini to join us, so we could have our own little Italian Job for a little bit.

 

I kept my MINI in the garage today away from 2 hail storms. :ihih: screw you Mother Nature. :lol:

 

I think this may be my highest honor yet.... being on Dave.0s screen saver! Oh and for those ladies in the crowd; I did a hand brake turn, full 180, in the gravel before taking that picture. :smilewinkgrin:

Stopped on the way home from work to pick up a few barley pops and on the way out a nice lady informed me that GIR was adorable, not sure how I feel about driving an adorable car.

Got home popped a top:beer and started working on my Cup Holder Project.

 

Hand cranks are much lighter than motorized cranks x 4.... Because Racekor.....
