Cleaned the interior of my MINI and just as I finished, my very muddy labrador retriever jumped into the driver's seat, climbed across to the passenger side, sat down and looked at me, asking for a ride. He didn't get one!

Living in California we go every 2 years. It's a pain. Mainly because all the mods have to be EAP approved. The shop I use to use it was not a problem , but the last time at a new shop they went over it top and bottom. They even put it on a rack to check under it. I had to change the header. The part that bugs me is it always passes the tail pipe test but not the visual test. I don't understand if it passes the tail pipe test who cares what it looks like.

They should just put the sensor up the tail pipe. If it is in the correct range that should be it. Why does it matter if my car is modded if it is not putting out anymore pollution then if it were stock. My heavily modded Exige is at lambda 1 when I am at an even speed.
It’s about control.-
