Let's see if this works. There, ok cool, there it is. So, I got back home from the Portland area about 8:00 last night. Did the trip in two legs, the second being from my brother-in-law's place in Grants Pass. Enough driving for a bit.

I got to see it yesterday when I went to Don's place and cleared out his garage. The ParkLane exterior is stunning. MINI nailed the color combo and the metallic body but solid color roof/trim. What I like most about Don's is the interior... Light Coffee lounge leather, chrome trim, and the black gauges look perfect! Only thing I would change is the transmission, but I see his need for an auto.
If the Porker wasn't so filthy (the pig has been rolling in the mud again) I would've snagged a couple pictures of all 3 R60's in his garage/driveway.
Anyhow, I have to thank Don for all the donated parts! It was a full load of stuff I need that can be painted up for the Dragon... All R56/R60 stuff, and a lot of old steel pieces to make some more rust sculptures out of.
The two sets of mirror caps (R60 and R56) an R56 OEM air box top, a complete R60 intake box, brake rotors, springs, suspension bits, an OE R56 intercooler, and a lot of other goodies made their way to the paint shop from Don. [emoji2]

iPhone... With over 2000 songs to choose from, plus random communication from the same source... Can't go wrong! [emoji12]

When I was a magazine Art Director, at least six people would review the proofs. A few weeks later, we would get a delivery of printed magazines, and a mistake would jump off the page and smack us in the face. One of life's great mysteries.

I usually have my lights set to rotate colors, and am embarrassed to say that sometimes, I get distracted by the colors for a millisecond when I turn to check my blind spot. :arf:
My youngest always asks to pick a color just about every time she rides in the MINI. Our other vehicle is a Tacoma, which you would think she'd find more comfortable, but she prefers riding in the MINI, which is just so much more fun. :biggrin5:-

Didn't pick up the Mini again today. They just started re-assembling it. I could have picked it up late this afternoon, but with the shop being 80 miles away, I didn't want to get caught up in the rush hour traffic through Raleigh/Durham.
Tomorrow... :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:
Once I pick it up the fun begins again. Diminished value claim. :mad2:-

Had flat tire today. Turns out the air inlet valve had worked itself loose. I walked to a nearby gas station to see if they sold those valve tighteners. Nope. All they had were tire pressure gauges and food. So I went back to my office parking lot and looked for a screw driver small enough to fit inside the tire valve. Found my trusty Swiss army knife tool and managed to fit one of the tools inside the valve and tighten it. Pulled out the compressor from inside the boot and put it to work.
Yup. That was it. A loose valve.-

Swapping over to the winters. Going to be leaving for Ft. Leavenworth for two weeks come Sunday morning. Till I get back, the weather should be appropriate.-
