No it means people wish the new MINI looked more like the great R53 silly.

 

Went down to the shop today and said Hi to my buddy....



My daughter is in from college for the holiday... Did the dad thing...
Woarched her vehicle, filled the tank with fuel (must be a leak, it's alway's near empty)
Changed the earl and earl filter...
Filled up the woarcher fluid tank with woarscher fluid....
Rubbed out a door scratch with Prima "Swirl"....



All is well now....

:cornut: Put a nice new set of gloves on MINI Margi. They are black and white checkerboard door handle covers:drool from our own 'Outmotoring'. Increased HP/torque 3/5 (tee hee). I also put my Life Member NRA badge on her. 1 more badge(!), oh no, they'll kick me out of the trailer park.(I really don't live in a trailer park) Then we went for a therapeutic drive on the TX country roads with Starbucks, cigars, and music. Great Day!

Installed my new Rennline Pedals that I got from Outmotoring.

 

I drove back from Asheville, NC today. Nice weather, windows open and light traffic. Since monday I put around a thousand miles on the Mini, and enjoyed every minute of it. That was the high point of my week. Saw probably a half dozen Minis all week, but waved at them all. Hope y'all had a good week too.

Nice job! All I can say is some people are mechanically gifted and others are just "Gifted" :lol:

 

Fired up the MINI and drove over to Schmidt's Sausage Haus....

Picked up some Bahama Mama's, German potato salad, red cabbage....

Then popped over to Hill's Market and grabbed a chocolate truffle bomb for desert....

My parents will be stopping by shortly for "Mother's Day"....

Does "hauling ass" count as doing something? I ripped off a couple of good 0-80 runs, then cranked a 35 mph turn at about 75. I think I felt the stability control kick in for the first time. She felt a bit "wiggly" as I cranked that turn. Like she was in "save myself" mode.

 

PAC it looks like your dog is looking up at the rack and thinking : " No way in hell I an riding up there for MTTS this year!" :yikes::rolleyes5::lol:

 

I pushed the car out of the garage this morning, then pushed it right back in... Decided to take a break from it, and go Jeepin!

Got a new dent in the Jeep too!

 

Oh well if the hail decides to bash my MINI into golf ball patina so be it. The sky s falling, the sky is falling. Yikes!

 

You are lucky you have those subs back there. Otherwise there'd have been more shopping. :wink:

 

Had a new deck installed

 

Finished the GP bumper install!

 

Yesterday, my MINI decided I needed to work on my tan a little in Bryantown, MD. So, it shredded the serpentine belt and made me wait for a tow where there were no shade trees.



Thankfully, the tensioner tool is tucked in the trunk at all times... just in case. Got her back up and running today.

 

Took a little time today, to add this little tribute....
