I found an empty stretch of lightly winding uphill road on my way to work this morning and got to find out how much boost my supercharger is still making.

    I got 14.78psi going up hill. :biggrin5:

Spent the afternoon chauffeuring my Grandson around. Beautiful day for motoring. Noticed this when I parked after coming home.

Not the original battery. This one's about 22 months old.
As they usually do, the dealership did come through for me so I really can't complain too much as they just now secured a rental for me at no cost to me.

Did the under-bonnet pre-flight on Babs cluster this morning. She's been flyin low all day. All the salt has been rinsed off thanks to Mother Nature's car warsh. All set for the next load of ice, snow & salt.

83,000 miles & it still uses no oil & runs like a top. :)

Deleted the rear wiper. Now just need to get around to removing the headlight washer bottle assembly that's behind the fender. [IMG][IMG]

I'm rescuing my MINI from the airport tonight. A Meguair's tech at the Barrett-Jackson auction showed me a product I can use to dress tires to make them black, but not shiny. I can use it on my tires, and on classic cars I photograph. Classic cars should never have shiny tires. I don't like shiny tires on my own car, either. I've been wanting a product that gives me a rich black, with little to no shine.

I was at RM/Sothby's last night. Any Tucker fans here?

Just changed the oil filter housing gasket. What a pain. Old gasket felt like it turned to plastic instead of rubber feeling. No more leaking though

If you are an early riser there is no problem with bozo's or the constabulary. Just you & the road, lots o fun.

There so many great roads in the area, that the dragon doesn't make my top 10 list. o_O

I have the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport. I love them. Im on my second set. They grip good wet or dry. The wear is good and they are quiet. I have them on my R53, my daly driver. They are Ultra High Performance Summer tire, but do fine in the Memphis winters.

@MCS0518 I started out using the K060535 but I got a little slippage close to redline. Once I started using the 532 I no longer had that problem. Take a good look at your crank pulley while your at it. If the rubber is starting to crack change it. You don't want it to fail. I replaced mine with a ATI.

Swapped out the tensioner for a brand new one, belt and idler pulley. No more slipping noise. Feel like it pulls pretty damn strong now too. Took off the Alta tensioner stop too.
