Only if the Corolla is using synthetic oil. Dinosaur oil only lasts for 5K to 10K before it needs changing out. In my previous cars, it was change the oil every 6 months regardless of mileage and if the mileage was high, change it more often.

On my '07 MCS I changed it anywhere between 3K and 5K miles, depending on how hard I ran it. Always ended up adding a quart between changes anyway. On the F56 I'm comfortable with 5K, but not the 10K Mini recommends. Haven't had to add any oil between changes in the last 30K miles.

Sad to say I am cutting back drastically on the things I planned on doing before the Dragon. I just completed my first round of radiation therapy and it has kicked the shit out of me. It is what it is and , come hell or high water, I will be there.

That stuff is awesome, and is the #1 product to use for class. I have used it many times with great results but it can be a pain to work with the first time but just follow the instructions and you will be fine.
Note it will remove hard water spots and wiper marks but not deep scratches.-

I picked up a bag of mulch in the MINI. No matter how well I cover the area where the mulch goes, some of it finds its way to the carpet. So, a quick vacuum was required.
Spring storm season is upon us in North Texas, with some coming in the next few days. That means hit and miss hail. So, my MINI is staying in the garage as much as possible for the next few days.

Some synthetic oil is made from petroleum base stock. Yes they are still synthetic, but some folks feel they are not??
Some synthetic oils are made from a synthetic base stock. Some folks feel that is better.
Me I believe in run whatever oil your heart desires. I use Mobil 1 synthetic & have for many years. It works well for me. I also do 5,000 mile changes & that works for me also.
Clean oil that meets the spec your engine needs is most important.
Got to love these oil threads. They always turn into an oily war.-

I beat the sh!t out of my car and run it very hard, but dont get me wrong I have built it to take all than I can give and maybe more.
I have very expensive motor parts and run 100% meth all the time. Running Meth gets the oil dirty very quickly and I want to protect everything with the best I can buy and “Boutique” oils are cheap insurance.
I run Amsoil signature 100% synthetic or Motul 8100 x-clean full synthetic which is also BMW LL-04 certified.

Took off the rear wing so I can have the clear coat fixed on it.. will post more about that over in my garage in a bit. Looks a little necked without the wing.. but in some ways I also like it without the wing... hmm..
