New winter tires (BS WS90) and
TPMS sensors.

 

TPMS sensors have let me know
multiple times that I have a nail
in a tire, and that the pressure has
gone down to about 30 psi.
At that point, I can plug the tire
myself and continue on.
Without the sensor, you end up
driving on a flat or nearly flat tire
before you realize the problem,
and at that point, you need a
new tire rather than a simple repair.

 

Just got done washing Checkers for the car show on Sunday The car looks great and I'm tired. I remember when I would wash my car a couple of times a day.

 

Today was a 300 mile drive with the Milwaukee MINIs club and Chicago MINI Motoring club. The morning drizzle cleared as I crossed the Wisconsin border and the day ended sunny and warm. 16 MINIs took off on some twisty back roads in the Kettle Moraine area with a stop at a confectionery store, a cheese shop and a pumpkin patch.

It's been in the 70's here for the last few weeks, but we it might rain by Thursday.

 

Gave it a quick wash. Now it's only dirty.

Took mine backwards through the finish at autoX today. :crazy: Then J did the same thing right after me with Gromie. We are now dubbed the spinnin' MINIs :lol: It was a good day! (J took top time in class and I got 3rd THAT'S never happened before).

 

Well, today Poco and I blew the doors off a beater modded Honda. Silly kid tried to keep up :lol:

After the above I gave my 13 year old niece and 11 year old nephew rides in the MINI. They told their friends and next I know there was a line of kids queued. I told them it was an E ticket ride.

 

Mirror caps

I liked it when I threw on a splash of red to my Laser Blue Clubman with a red/white checkered badge so I decided to put on some more. I got some red mirror caps and wrapped them with white checks to match the badge.

 

I hope you realize that I am only poking fun in a good way. Every since I came on the forums, way, way back in 2008 D) the justa has always been looked down on and spoken of as a joke. A lot of folks own them, but never defend them for some reason, so I have decided to do so and Erika has jumped in as well. Remember, the only real deference in a Justa, MCS and JCW, is the size of the engine and we all know that "size doesn't count". :cornut:

You are right. I tracked my car all the way here. It got to the point that my wife would come home from work and the first thing she said was, "No, I don't want to know where your car is!".
