Got my car back tonight from the shop!!!
Broke in my wallet with a new water pump :mad2:
Got a 15% pulley put on in the process and had some dings taken out
Still need some dings taken out next week, but it's getting there. I will have this car pristine in no time :biggrin5:

Took mine out of winter hibernation, and drove it on this beautiful January day. Best part is it didn't catch on fire!

Yesterday I finally got Ryu out for a nice, "spirited" drive with ChiliPa up to a gathering of other Mini nuts for some good conversation and good eats.
I let the GPS find our way home and it took us through some sick country back roads
You know it was a good time when my car ends up dirty -

Finally...
Got around to installing my new to me JCW exhaust on my R53. After 49,500 mi my original system gave up the ghost and had a split on the drivers side muffler.
JCW system came off GP #0280 with very low miles. I installed all new rubber hangers and a new gasket. Happiness again. What a difference in performance. I've had a JCW intake on when I took delivery and couldn't be more smitten.

Yesterday I washed Foggie and got her back in the garage just before the rain hit.

Today we are off to MINI of Baltimore County for a MINI Clinic. I am not exactly sure what it is, but it's FREE and I get a gift for making the appointment. I let you know when I get back.

As a side note, I wore my Tail Of The Dragon sweat shirt, jeans and ball cap. Everyone else was dressed very "yuppieish", were working with their lap tops and iPads and not talking. All the MINI's I saw coming in and going out were....well...plain. No stripes, no driving lights no nothing. I couldn't find a real MINIite anyplace. None of these folks would have fit in at MOTD.

While sitting at the SA's desk I heard a lady saying "I like that one, I really, really like that one" and her husband responded "Not our kind of car, dear". I turned around and they were looking at Foggie. She did stand out amoung all the plain Janes, I must say.

Jim.....
You should have taken her for a "Spirited Ride" and told her about the Dragon Run, and suggested she get a new husband.... One that fit the MINI better.....

Ordered some new parts for mine...
It's gonna be faster!
Not that the performance is increased but more like the engine is actually gonna work better with parts that aren't broken.-

Took Scooter up to Estes Park via Left-Hand to Ward, Peak to Peak to Hwy 7, Hwy 7 to Estes Park, played in the city a bit, took Hwy 36 to Lyons then home.
Super nice twisty mountain drive.
Don
Scooter enjoyed it too.-

Swapped the winter treads for the summer rims/tires. Then I invented a few errands and went out for a nice "spirited" drive..
