I agree... the 60's were great.... I had Coco floor mats in my 69 VW Beetle.... They were the cat's pajamas.....

 

After a long weekend of running around, finally finished the pre-Sandy preparations last night:

 

I sat there in the garage, enjoying the awesome 75 degree day... sipp'n an ice cold Dos Equis Amber while planning the next mod on my R53. Afterall, it deserves some extra love. :beer

 

Installed the new DDMworks Cold Air Kit! What a difference!

 

Legally cruised at an indicated 90 mph from near Austin to Seguin on Texas Highway 130. Posted limit is 85 (highest in North America), GPS said I was going 86.7 mph.

 

:cornut: My heart goes out to you but not as much as it goes out to me for not having the money to buy it.

Met up with a bunch of other Mid-Ohio MINI folks for donuts and tire kicking. Really nice big group today too.

 

Well yesterday... We're now a two MINI family cuz Mum & Dad bought a 2013 BRG MCS!

 

No more salt on the Jersey roads! Drove the MINI to work this morning! Made having to work today no so bad

 

I shopped online today and let the MINIs rest in the Garage. Safer that way!

 

So did I . Gots me some goodies.

 

Went for the first "spirited" run since installing a JCW Stage 1 kit last Monday. More torque + more power = more fun.

 

Snowing here too Monica, so Foggie is in for the day as well.

Jeez, it feels like I left one of my kids at the store...... again. It's tough getting old.

 

All this talk of lights has inspired me to aim my driving lights. Thanks! For real added performance slap a set of Hella's on the front of your MINI. :biggrin5:
