Drove it 400 miles round trip to pick up front seats for my other car.... So 1000 miles just in the first week of having it

 

Installed winter wheels, cleaned clogged meth nozzle and tested. Drove with son to gun show.

 

This is why I love working from home when I'm not flying somewhere. When I went to work this morning (at home) Dark Helmet stayed in the garage all snuggly warm with his cover on...and he remained clean with a fresh coat of Banana Gloss. The only dirt I encountered was on the bottom of my slippers when I walked down the driveway to get the newspaper.

 

Today I put reindeer antlers and a big red nose on my MINI.


Kidding I think those things look stupid.

 

Installed JCW 380cc injectors and new belt tensioner @ Custom MINI shop Fresno,CA.

 

Turned on the heated seats.

Since my wife traded her Cabrio in and the chrome bits won't fit her new car I installed the brake duct chrome on mine.

 

drove at Carolina Motorsports Park with my instructor, Phil Wicks. Had a great day at my HPDE class that my wife got me for Christmas

 

We took Scarlet the Roadster for her first trip to the grocery store, about 5-6 miles round trip. Somehow we motored 50 miles (-;

 

Saturday took the Countryman out for a drive north and got it more dirty. Wife took it to the grocery store this morning.

First thing she said when she got back, hey my MINI is dirty and needs gas. :skep:

I guess I will spend some time washing and Hydro today. :shocked:

Stopped at the dealer on the way home, got an armrest installed, got some rubber floor mats. Then carried on home topless, and put a stubby antenna on the Roadster that we had.

 

:cornut: THREAD JACK- Please explain 'BEATER' to me. I thought that it was a sleeveless deep neck under shirt worn by Body Builders and Wife Beaters. Obviously it has several meanings so what are the other meanings,please? Now back to the thread.

A bird pooped on the Scarlet, cleaned that up.

So far have motored 3 1/2 hours, 3+ topless. (stupid gauge:lol

Temps have been fine for topless motoring, even in the early morning dark times:cornut:

 

Yeah, they feel sorry for making the old fart climb, but I still do it...

 

Crossed 70,000 miles dropping my wife off to run her first Half-Marathon.

 

Gave her the day off. Rained here all day. At least it isn't snow.
